A Note from the Publisher: I'd Love to (Virtually!) Meet You!

By Carrie Boyle - Publisher, Macaroni Kid Buffalo Northtowns July 23, 2020

Hey Mama!  Gosh - I've lost track of the time that we've been, well... home.

As you may know, I started this Buffalo Northtowns edition of Macaroni Kid early this year.  I was so excited to get out in our community, get involved with our local businesses, and most importantly, MEET YOU!  Meet the local mamas and papas of WNY!  Being a Macaroni Kid publisher comes with a lot of FUN!  The chance to get out and get active!  The opportunity to share what Macaroni Kid is all about and what a great resource it is for all of you - our northtowns families!  Shaking hands, giving high fives to the kiddos, sharing crafts and project ideas and partnering with our local businesses to show all that Buffalo has to offer for family friendly fun!

Well, the current times have of course changed that.  No events to share.  No events to be a part of to personally meet all of you.  And definitely no handshakes and those amazing high fives I love so much.  (At least I can still get fivers from my son!)  Just because COVID has changed what I envisioned this year to look like (and what we ALL have expected life to look like!), doesn't mean I don't still want to be that resources and even more importantly, want to meet you!

So, here's what I would LOVE.  Reach out!  Share with me who you are and about your kiddos (and then pass on some high fives and fist bumps from me to those cuties!).  Let me know how you have found ways to still stay active and engaged during these times (maybe another mama would love to hear your idea!).  And, let me know of any (socially distant appropriate) events that you are seeing pop up so I can share those as well!

Really!  E-mail me!  I miss that mama connection and imagine you may be feeling the same way - so let's connect!  I can be reached at carrieb@macaronikid.com.   I can't wait to hear from you - even if it's just to say hi!

With lots of mama love,

Carrie
