A Note from the Publisher: So much excitement for this edition!

By Carrie Boyle - Publisher, Macaroni Kid Buffalo Northtowns April 23, 2020

I have to say, I'm pretty excited about this Thursday's edition of Macaroni Kid!  I, like so many out there, took a step back over this past month to try and figure out the ins and outs and accept the unknowns of our current situation.  Running a newsletter based on events in our community and then having zero events to share definitely knocked me down a little as well!  But, I feel like we are falling into a groove, finding a rhythm, and making the most out of this pandemic lifestyle we all are adjusting to.

That couldn't be more true than for some of our friends of Macaroni Kid that I've had the joy of highlighting this week!  In addition to our regular content filled with great lessons and activities to do from home, this week I'm so excited to share how businesses right in our community have stepped up!  Whether it be finding a way to still impact and educate like our friends we've spotlighted this week at Rolly Pollies, or those that have found a way to redefine how they offer their services to deliver joy and happiness as we've shown in our virtual birthday celebrations article - it seems our community has truly done what Buffalo does best!  Thanks for stepping up WNY!

I can't stress enough how important it is to support our local businesses in any way you can.  Sharing these articles, subscribing to their content, and following their social media pages are all so vital!  If you can, utilize their services, purchase gift cards, book for future events, and make sure to visit and support them when their businesses can open their doors for face to face operations again!  And of course, I would love you to support this local business of Macaroni Kid Buffalo Northtowns as well by sharing our newsletter and website so we can continue to grow and be a great resource for all things family friendly in our community!

Wishing you all the best during these unique times, and enjoy this weeks newsletter!

Lots of mama love,

Carrie
